The 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 offers four engine options, including a standard 2.7L TurboMax™. In terms of towing and off-road capability, the Ford F-150 offers more robust engines. The F-150 offers a maximum towing capacity of 13,500 pounds, while the Silverado 1500 boasts a towing capacity of 13,300 pounds. Every F-150 gets a ten-speed automatic transmission, while the Silverado 1500 gets an eight-speed transmission with its standard engine.
